WHAT IS A DOMUS?

The house of Romans was the domus. They were the households of the families who had a good economic level. There was an entrance with a hall that led to an atrium or courtyard with a fountain. There was a visiting room, one or two rooms, an area with gardens  and a room that was used as a pantry.
